Course description
What will you study?
You will practice the principles, features and techniques of dramatic writing and devising. You will look at the role of the writer and deviser in the production process, as well as exploring the historical, ideological and critical contexts in which traditions of writing and devising for the stage have evolved.
In addition, you will study current practices in collaborative and collective theatre, and contemporary professional practice. You will also learn key approaches to and methodologies used in researching performance.
