• Objectives
  This course gives you the chance to spend a year preparing for a university degree course in the heart of London. You will be able to develop subject knowledge, English language skills and the study skills you will need to go on to a degree course. The course will give you an understanding of the main areas of your chosen specialisation. It will also introduce you to academic study in the UK and if necessary help you to reach a level equivalent to at least 5.5 IELTS in English. You will be registered as a London Metropolitan University student. Successful students are guaranteed a place on a degree course, an HND or Foundation course here. As a registered student you have full use of our facilities including: access to over 700 new computers; internet and email facilities; language labs; library; gym and sports facilities for our Halls of Residence.
• Entry requirements
  We want students who will benefit from the programme and who are prepared to work hard to achieve their goals. You will also need: - To be aged least 18 by the date of enrolment - A school leaving certificate - A good standard of English with IELTS 4.5 (minimum of 4.0 in each component) or an equivalent qualification
