    The programme is suitable for life-scientists, engineers and clinical graduates interested in acquiring multidisciplinary skills in this expanding, clinically and industrially important area of research.

    Typically, applicants will be expected to have one or more of the following; a first degree, normally with class 2:1 or equivalent in a relevant subject area, a relevant master’s qualification or equivalent.

    Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to pass either IELTS/TEOFL exams. Minimum requirements are normally IELTS band 6.5 or TOEFL 600 (250 for computer-based test).

    Course Description:

    This Masters programme consists of four taught modules: Research Methodologies, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Innovation Environment, and Tissue Engineering from Concept to Clinical Practice.
    In addition, clinically trained professionals will acquire the knowledge to understand the scientific data generated and translate it successfully into something of clinical value – ‘Bench to Bedside’. Teaching is delivered via formal seminars, lectures, practical laboratory sessions and interactive workshops in the traditional, as well as industrial, setting.
