• Course description

  We have a Spanish Beginner Course from Thursday 23 April to Thursday 25 June from 6 to 7:30pm (10 weeks, total 15 hours).

  Lessons take place once a week in our offices in Holborn

  The total fee for the whole term is £190 (3 to 10 students in the group)

  Introductions

  The alphabet: spelling names/surnames

  Asking and giving personal information (name, nationality, profession)

  Jobs/ Countries and nationalities

  v. llamarse/ser/vivir

  Numbers / asking and saying telephone numbers

   

   

  Family (possessive adjectives)

  Adjectives to describe people and things (masculine/feminine forms)

  v. tener

   

   

  Asking and saying where you are

  Prepositions of place

  v. estar

  Describing places (using verbs ser, estar, tener, hay)

  Finding your way

   

   

  Names of food and drinks

  Ordering food and drinks in a bar (v. querer)

  Likes and dislikes (v.gustar)

  Free time, hobbies, activities, food

  Situations in shops (describing and buying)

  Asking and saying how much

   

   

  Time

  Routines during the week/weekends (Present Tense: regular/irregular verb forms)
