Course description
PgDip/MSc Diagnostic Radiography (pre-registration)
This is a unique, progressive and integrated fast-track course. It incorporates natural sciences, clinical sciences, health policy and research methods. We take a problem-based approach to learning, which includes opportunities to share learning with students from other allied health professions. We promote teamwork and an appreciation of how other disciplines contribute to health care.
Course structure
Academic blocks of study are combined with clinical modules, with placements occurring in the summer and autumn. Subjects include radiographic studies, contemporary issues in health and social care, vulnerable client groups, imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, ultrasound and digital imaging technology, and research methodology. If you wish to complete the full master's degree, you can continue further and conduct a research project and a further clinical placement.
