Objectives
This programme is aimed at graduates from a computer science-related course and those who have successfully completed a PGCert in Computing or Computer Science The course can be tailored to allow students from a range of backgrounds to rapidly develop their skills in a particular area and to bring their knowledge to an advanced level The course content reflects the research and consultancy strengths of staff from within the School, and benefits from the highly advanced study environment within the new Technology Centre Depending on your individual background and experience, you may cover topics from database technology, Internet technology, cybermetrics, software engineering, multimedia technology, HCI, object-oriented techniques and computer networks You have the option of evenings-only study

You must have a degree in computing - usually at least a second class Honours or equivalent You should have successfully completed a PGCert in Computing or Computer Science
