Objectives
If you would like to develop your information, communication and technology (ICT) skills and enhance your teaching and learning strategies, this course is ideal. It will enable you to master the range of multimedia techniques that can be used in the classroom, establish when it is relevant to use ICT and learn how to make the most of these teaching aids. This course incorporates the ideas and requirements of the Departement for Children, Schools and Families and regarding personalised learning and builds on NOF training and its successors.

Course description
What will you study?
You will learn how to use a range of multimedia techniques to support your teaching; for example, you will learn how to deal with interactive whiteboards. You will also look at the role of multimedia and other e-learning approaches in the classroom. In addition you will explore the ways in which young people across the Key Stages engage with multimedia material. These activities will be approached in a highly practical, hands-on fashion.
