The MSc in Skills, Performance and Work Practices provides HR professionals with the latest academic and professional knowledge of the complex relationships between skills, training, work practices and organisational performance. The course aims to meet the learning and professional development needs of those involved in designing or researching work practices and enhancing skills development for improved organisational performance. Research methods training is also integral to this course.

Teaching and assessment methods
The course is studied by distance learning. The course is based upon the principles of continuous assessment. Students will be required to complete an assignment of 4,000-5,000 words at the end of each of the four modules. Students for the MSc are also required to complete a dissertation of 16,000-20,000 words.
