This innovative programme provides a unique opportunity to pursue a Masters degree in human geography with a specialism in postcolonial geographies. The programme provides students with in-depth knowledge and critical appreciation of postcolonial debates across human geography, including development geography, cultural geography, urban geography, and environmental politics. It is taught by specialists with a range of research interests in the intersection of geography and postcolonialism that is exceptional in a UK Geography Department. Core modules offer grounding in theoretical debates and research methods in geography and postcolonial studies. Options allow students to choose between a number of specialised modules.
