The choice modules provide flexibility, allowing individuals to tailor the programme to their specific needs. A wide variety of choice modules are available, including: Leadership and Change, Integrated Assessment, Evidencing Work-Based Learning, Applied Pharmacology, Prescribing Practice (all programmes), Legal and Ethical Issues and Dilemmas in Health and Social Care (MSc only), and many more.
Teaching and learning
Delivery of the modules will vary and may include conventional classroom based work, work-based learning, independent study, e-learning, action learning sets, and enquiry based learning.
The focus will be on supporting and promoting the development and integration of theory, practice and research within a framework that facilitates inter-professional learning.
Assessment
Assessment may take the form of coursework, presentations and portfolio of evidence.
