Course description
This course improves your environmental resource awareness and helps you to develop core skills through practice-based learning.
It is suitable if you
• are a graduate in an environmental or related area and want to complete postgraduate study specialising in resource and climate management

You focus on environmental techniques, including

You gain a broad knowledge of the key technical issues such as waste treatment and mining, and new developments in sustainable energy technology.
You also learn about policy responses and management approaches including zero carbon policies and sustainable integrated water management systems, while developing your managerial ability and professional expertise.

During the consultancy project module you complete a project, which is often in partnership with an environmental organisation.

Typically you can find employment within government agencies, local authorities, or private companies and consultancies. Most graduates achieve posts in the area of their choice, either before completing their studies or shortly afterwards.
