  This course provides community regeneration workers in the UK with a practical knowledge and theoretical understanding of contemporary community regeneration policy and practice.
  
  Students will gain a thorough grounding in UK policy models post-devolution, and establish a strong theoretical understanding of the politics and ideologies that underpin the wider arena of welfare provision and social justice. Students can also specialise in key fields of regeneration practice. This course provides a professional qualification in a rapidly growing sector, enabling graduates to become effective regeneration professionals.

  How To Study
  
  The course starts with a week-long induction and introduction, followed by day attendance on campus once a month. Additionally, the course is supported by online provision using the Blackboard e-learning interface. Assessment is conducted by a variety of continuous assessment methods, including essays, portfolios, presentations and reports. There are no examinations.
  
  Students undertaking the programme over three years will complete three modules in Year One, three modules in Year Two, with the dissertation submitted in Year Three.
