Objectives
This programme has been designed to ensure that students have the fundamental knowledge and skills to perform within any marketing role, building upon this foundation by developing a clear understanding of the function of marketing communications in the international business environment. In order to equip students for the specific needs of a role within the creative industries, the programme aims to foster the ability to choose, design, implement and evaluate creative message strategies for different target audiences and to select the appropriate media channels to communicate such messages for best impact. Detailed examination of case examples encourages an appreciation of best practice in the marketing communications industry and emphasises the importance of project teams. The dissertation or project will then allow students to explore a marketing communications issue in considerable depth.
