Objectives
The MSc (Human Resource Management) helps to develop general managers who are capable of coping with the increasing demands to understand contemporary HRM issues in the context of increasingly competitive environments. This scenario requires managers who are capable of developing a critical understanding of the broader organisational, strategic and financial contexts in which HRM processes take place. This programme is therefore aimed at those who wish to appreciate certain key HRM issues in their more general managerial context in order to start their career in management. This initially entails students specialising in the Spring Semester by undertaking two HRM-related modules that focus upon Communication in Organisations and Knowledge Management. Students will also undertake a project that engages with a subject area, issue or problem relevant to HRM theory and practice.
