What are the major causes of inequality today? How did the idea that certain groups are less equal than others emerge? What sustains that idea? How are these groups interrelated? What does 'equality' and 'human rights' mean? What practical steps can be taken to achieve equality and human rights?

This new, innovative programme responds to radical changes in approaches to equalities and human rights in Scotland, the UK and beyond.  Taught by a team of specialists from a range of areas of inequality including gender, racism, sexuality, disability and faith, the programme offers a unique opportunity for you to gain knowledge about a wide range of equality issues and to think across the dimensions of inequality.
