Selected entry requirements English language: GCSE English grade C GCE O-Level English Language grade C IELTS 6.0 with no sub test less than 5.0 TOEFL 550 (TWE of 5), Computer Based 213 (TWE of 5), Internet Based 79 (Minimum of 19/30 in each component). English First Language or English Second Language (Cambridge IGCSE) grade C Certificate of Proficiency in English or Certificate in Advanced English (Cambridge ESOL) grade C If you do not currently have an English Language qualification at the required level then it may be possible to arrange a pre-sessional course. For more information on the pre-sessional English language courses please visit the Universities Language Centre website. A level: ABB including Maths & Physics or Electronics. Unit grade information: The University of Manchester welcomes the provision of unit grade information which, like all other available information, will inform the consideration of applications. Unit grades will not normally form part of offer conditions, except for Mathematics programmes. GCSE: C English Language & Maths. Key Skills qualification: The University warmly welcomes applications from students studying the Key Skills qualification. However, as the opportunities to take these modules are not open to all applicants, currently this is not an essential requirement of the University. International baccalaureate: 33 points overall, including 6 points in Mathematics and 5 points in Physics at Higher level. The internet is perhaps the most familiar communication network. It comprises many types of network, including: radio, satellite, cable, infra-red, optical-fibre and microwave. This course offers you opportunity to study all of these network types and understand how network protocols enable them all to work together to transport information across the office or around the world.
