Objectives
This programme offers an opportunity for those who wish to gain expertise in business from a global perspective. A unique feature of the course is the opportunity to examine the strategic challenges posed for firms when working in diverse environments such as transitional and emerging economies. The programme develops an appreciation of global business through the study of various financial, marketing and regulatory environments in which international firms find themselves. The course also enables you to understand the strategies and structures of international businesses and importantly, to be aware of the many, often conflicting, schools of thought which surround global strategy.

Entry requirements
Applicants should normally have an Honours degree. We encourage applicants without these formal qualifications where their range of work and other experience will also be considered. When possible, candidates will be interviewed.

The course will consist of core modules including:

-Global Business Strategy
-Global Finance
-Global Business Regulation
-Research Methods
You also choose an additional module from the following:
-Digital Commerce
-Cultural Diversity in the Business World
-International HRM
-International Management Accounting
-International Business in Japan and South East Asia
-International Business Law
-Marketing Strategy
-International Marketing Law
A dissertation or final project worth three modules is also required.
Assessment
Teaching and learning is based on student activity and contribution via seminars, discussions, workshops, projects, tutorials and self-managed study. A range of assessment methods are used including written reports, projects and examination.

Graduates who have studied on the MSc will be well placed for employment within large multinational companies or in businesses that are seeking those with experience of more than one culture and economy.
