Objectives
The main feature of this course is to provide a balance, choice and integration between art, design and technological studies which allows you to examine and to cross perceived boundaries of contemporary art and design practice. You will obtain the fundamental knowledge and skills required to develop a unique and personal portfolio which responds to the current demands of a multidisciplinary workplace/practice.

Entry requirements
We welcome students of any age. Those with formal qualifications would normally be expected to have one of the following: Successful completion of a Foundation Course in Art and Design. A minimum of 200 points gained in A levels including two 6-unit (A2) awards. A minimum of 200 points gained in Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education (AVCE) double awards. An EdExcel/BTEC National Diploma, with merits in a relevant subject. A National Certificate with Distinction in a relevant subject. A National Award with Distinction + 60 points. This course is also an excellent undergraduate programme for those of you who wish to teach art and design.
