Entry requirements
Entry Requirements Students must have a second class honours degree, or better, in Information Technology, Science, Engineering, or a degree subject with a significant Mathematics and Computing content. Candidates holding less than a good honours degree or its equivalent but with compensating qualifications or experience may be admitted to the Postgraduate Diploma course. Transfer to the MSc will be possible later on if exam and course work are at MSc level.

Overview
As mobile technology, intelligent agents, e-commerce and multimedia become ubiquitous, there is a growing demand for skilled people able to design and engineer systems with these technologies. This course offers students the opportunity to understand the principles and acquire the skills to develop the advanced software that underpin these technologies.
The course is flexibly designed to offer a good range of challenging modules suitable for good graduates from a wide spectrum of first degrees from those in IT to those with little academic computing content.
