Objectives
This course aims to enhance your knowledge and understanding of theoretical and applied issues in health and social care. In addition to developing your skills in research methodologies, the course provides a range of modules from which you can construct a programme of study appropriate to your interests and career requirements. For example, contemporary issues in health and social care, evidence-based practice, clinical governance, public health, health development and interprofessional practice can be studied.

Course content
You can study this course full-time over one year, or on a part-time basis for as little as two years. There are also exit points for part-time students at Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma levels. Part-time study requires you to attend the University for the equivalent of one afternoon and one evening per week. It is also possible to study some modules as an associate student.
