Programme
Students beginning the nine-month course in September will start with modules in general preparation for study at postgraduate level, including:
-Teaching and Learning Styles
-Critical Thinking
-Research Skills
-Effective Team Working
-Business Communication/Presentation Skills
-Career Planning.
Students will then study the following modules:
-Introduction to International Accounting
-International Business Issues
-Issues in Human Resource Management
-Consumers and Markets
-Introduction to study at a UK university
Modules will include international aspects of each subject, and it is hoped that the background and experiences of the students will enhance this international dimension.
Career opportunities
Students who successfully complete this Graduate Certificate (nine or five month route) to the standard required will be guaranteed a place on a suitable Leicester Business School full-time Masters programme. Please note that some Leicester Business School programmes require additional entry criteria.
