Objectives

The course provides the opportunity to study a diverse body of academic and professional agendas that can be classed as finance and corporate governance. In doing so, it will enable you to develop higher level analytical skills, critical ability and the application of theory to practice. The programme includes aspects of governance from both a societal and institutional focus and addresses the legal framework in which these operate. The finance element includes corporate sectors and financial markets, and the institutional and legislative framework in which finance is raised and employed. Additionally, the programme will include aspects of audit, corporate secretaryship and corporate administration including strategic management.
