  • Objectives
    FdSc Computing is suitable for you if you are interested in the development and implementation of computer systems within a commercial environment, and if you ultimately aspire to a supervisory or management role. The course covers all the fundamental computing areas of programming, systems design, hardware, networks and databases. At the end, you will be able to work in programming, support or any of a wide range of computer-based jobs.
  • Entry requirements
    Entry Requirements 100 points which must include one pass at A level or Vocational A level. Additional requirements for this course are normally GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalents) in Mathematics and English. The University adopts a flexible approach to admitting students with non-standard qualifications; in particular students with appropriate work experience. Note: Mathematics and Computing A levels are not a compulsory entry requirement, the course is also suitable for students with A level Arts/Humanities subjects or equivalent.
