Objectives
In this new Foundation degree we will draw on our existing expertise in Community Theatre, Drama, Music and the Visual Arts to give students an opportunity to engage with a range of art media and to explore the application of these in different community settings with groups who traditionally have not had theopportunity to do so.

Modules include
Year 1
In the first year, you will gain practical skills and knowledge and develop your understanding of related theories. Your studies will extend beyond the studio or workshop into the wider community where they will be encouraged to identify opportunities for creative engagement. Work-based and work-related activities will be an important aspect of the curriculum from the start.
Year 2
In the second year, you will apply your developing skills, knowledge and ideas in community settings. You will be encouraged to be increasingly independent but to maintain, where appropriate, a collaborative approach.
