Who is this course for?
Students with an interest in Fashion and anyone wanting to know how to draft basic blocks and adapt them into patterns for own designs. Suitable for beginners or anyone wanting to further develop existing skills. What qualifications or experience do I need ?
Basic mathematics for calculating measurements is advisable. Please bring a calculator.
What will I study ?
Learners will explore drafting skirt, bodice, dress and trouser blocks to standard measurements and adapting these to suit a variety of styles and designs.

Internal assessment

College Certificate Also opportunity for credits against Foundation Degree modules
What can the course lead to ?
Progression onto further Foundation Degree modules, a full time course or training/employment.

Approximately 50-70 for pattern cutting equipment.(optional)
