Course description
Environmental regulation is of ever-increasing importance in a modern society, and this interdisciplinary MA programme offers students the opportunity to enhance their future career and professional development by providing specialist knowledge of a growth area of law and policy.
The MA Environmental Law and Policy programme brings together specialists from a wide range of diverse academic disciplines to pool expertise within this programme, facilitating the development of valuable skills and understanding of those working, or intending to work, in careers involving management of environmental matters in either the private or the public sector.

This programme is aimed at graduates with a relevant degree or work experience who wish to undertake a critical analysis and evaluation of the laws governing the environment, at both national and international level. It also incorporates an exploration of the social and environmental responsibility of businesses, the development of practical skills of environmental management, and an exploration of the responses to environmental issues by different types of organisation. Awards of Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Law and Policy are also available.

* Business Environment in Emerging Asia Pacific
For the MA in Environmental Law and Policy, students subsequently complete a research dissertation on a subject of interest relevant to the programme.
