      - Work placements in 2 early years settings
      - 1 optional unit (to be discussed with your tutor)
  
  You will have regular tutorials and also develop your communication, numeracy and ICT skills.
  
  What do I need to get on to it?
  You need to show that you are interested in working with children.
  You will need GCSEs at grade D or above or a distinction from a level 1 course.
  
  Where does it lead?
  If you achieve the full award, you will be able to find work.
  You may be able to progress to a level 3 award.
