Showing by discussion, demonstration and making how personal ideas become finished work.
What topics will we cover?
The course will show an insight into the ideas and practical decision making made by the maker in the process of realising a personal language.
By the end of this course you should be able to:
You can understand why and how a maker creates work to put before a public, and gain insight into your own aspirations.
What level is the course?
Beginners to professional makers.
How will I be taught?
In group situations.
Are there any other costs (e.g. certification, materials, equipment or books I need to buy)?
No.
What feedback will I get?
Discussion with the maker and peer group. You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
Will I have a chance to give my views on the course?
Yes, please complete the evaluation form at the end of your course. These are monitored and help us to continually improve our courses.
When I've finished, what course can I do next?
Discussing and investigation within City Lit will allow the appropriate progression.
