Entry requirements
You must: - Be over the age of 18 - Have an Advanced GNVQ or AVCE in Business - Have a BTEC National Certificate of Diploma in Business - Have Advanced GNVQ or ACE of another title (e.g. Leisure in Tourism) - Have at least one GCSE A level pass with appropriate supporting GCSE at Grades A, B, C NB: If you are over 21 years old, appropriate work experience, good verbal communication, numeracy and basic IT skills.

What does it include?
You will complete ten modules at two levels over a two – year period:
Level 1 Modules include:
- Accounting
- Introduction to Conference Management
- Organisation in its Environment
- Business Decision Making
- Business Communication
Level 2 Modules include:
- Marketing
- Conference Management 2
- Legal and Regulatory Framework
- Research Project
- Organisations and Behaviour
Where does it lead?
The HNC is a nationally and internationally recognized qualification throughout the business Industry. It is a professional course, which provides a basic grounding in the core areas of business as well as conference and events management, and leads to an enhanced career as well as promotion prospects.
The University of Westminster grants admission to the holder of this qualification onto the BA Business Administration (BA (Hons)). Holders of the HNC will be considered for admission onto the University’s Post- Graduate Diploma (DMS) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA). The HNC gives automatic subject exemption from many professional qualifications.
