Course description
Building surveying requires a combination of technical, economic and managerial skills. The programme reflects this diversity through lectures, studio work, individual and teamwork on projects, seminars, workshops and site visits.
We focus on the post-construction life of buildings and, in keeping with our multidisciplinary approach, students work on projects with students taking other programmes within the school such as quantity surveying, design and construction management, estate management and architecture. A major feature of the programme is its international perspective. Study tours to many European cities have taken place.
