Course description
Course Description:
After an introduction to the climatic forces which affect buildings, there are modules which focus on specific aspects of building performance, providing an opportunity for the acquisition of both academic foundation and practical skills in the evaluation of building performance by simulation.
In a second stage of the course, students are able to investigate in greater depth an aspect of the subject that interests them. They produce a written dissertation based on their research.
Special Features of this course:
The School is among the leading developers of computer modelling software at scales ranging from individual buildings, through urban clocks to entire cities.
