Objectives
Few other courses nationally enable you to study tourism development and environmental issues in a truly integrated way. The scale and diversity of the tourism industry has made the relationship between it and the environment complex only understood through addressing socio-cultural, economic and environmental issues. You gain practical experience of applying these issues, and we encourage you to take a work placement, and participate in national and international field courses. There are international links with Oulu Polytechnic (Finland), Fachhochschule Eberswalde (Germany), Akademia Rolnicza, Szczecin (Poland), and Universitat de Lleida (Spain).
