Objectives
The course concentrates on understanding how the human body functions during exercise and sport. You will be studying all aspects of sport from a scientific perspective, including biology, biochemistry, nutrition and physiology. Studying Sports Science will help you to build a successful career in either the scientific or commercial worlds, or in the public sector.

Entry requirements
You should have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent). You are normally expected to achieve one of the following: at least 160 points from two or more A-levels, including biology or physical education or science; or at least 160 points from two A-levels (Applied subjects) in science; or a BTEC National Diploma in Science with MMP and at least four merits in the final year, including biology-related modules, but excluding common skills. Entry from appropriate Foundation and Access courses is considered.
