Objectives
he course provides an up-to-date programme for those seeking professional careers in social work within the statutory, voluntary and private sectors. It prepares you for anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice within a complex and multi-cultural society, and within the context of professional and agency requirements. The course is managed and delivered by a long-standing partnerships between the University and local social work agencies, including statutory, voluntary and service user-led organisations.

Entry requirements
Entry Requirements A combination of qualifications totalling not less than 220 points, including a minimum of two 6-unit or one 12-unit awards. We also accept QAA accredited Access courses and their equivalent. GCSE grade C in Maths and English, or equivalent, is essential to meet GSCC requirements. In addition, you must provide evidence of learning from relevant life experience and knowledge of social work.
