  Selected entry requirements A level: Grades AAB. We may accept grades ABB if two science-based subjects are offered (Maths, Biology, Chemistry or Physics.) General Studies is welcomed but not included as part of the standard offer. Two AS-levels of equivalent grades accepted in place of one A-level. Unit grade information: The University of Manchester welcomes the provision of unit grade information which, like all other available information, will inform the consideration of applications. Unit grades will not normally form part of offer conditions, except for Mathematics programmes. GCSE: Minimum grade B in English and either Mathematics or Statistics. Key Skills qualification: The University warmly welcomes applications from students studying the Key Skills qualification. However, as the opportunities to take these modules are not open to all applicants, currently this is not an essential requirement of the University. International baccalaureate: 33 points overall.   Course description
  This is a three-year, full-time BSc programme that gives you a comprehensive general coverage of the central topics of psychology. A series of compulsory course units in Years 1 and 2 give you a thorough overview of the central theoretical ideas and empirical findings in psychology. In your final year you select from a wide range of specialised course units and carry out a research project. We devote considerable attention to training in the skills required to carry out psychological investigations by means of practical classes and instruction in research methods, statistics and the use of computers.
