BSc Multimedia Computing
Programme
The programme divides into the following themes with specific areas of studies:
* Multimedia Production, 2D Multimedia Animation, 3D Modelling and Animation, User Interface Design, Usability Engineering
* Electronic Publishing and Production - Dynamic Web Publishing, Privacy and Data Protection
* Computing, Object Oriented Programming, JAVA, Database Design and Implementation
* Digital Imaging, still, moving, 3D and composition
* Video Production, Studio Practice, Post-production for Video and Film
* Digital Audio and Radio Technologies, Integrated Sound and Media
* Technology, Networks and Communications, Electronic Sound and Vision, Telematics and Web-based Control
* Contextual Studies, Studies in Digital Technology.
The course is highly practical and students have full access to well equipped laboratories and studios, including a video production studio, radio production studio and audio recording studio. The laboratories and studios are equipped with industry standard software packages, including Adobe Studio 8, Adobe Director MX, MDM Zinc, Adobe Video Suite, 3D Studio Max and ProTool.
