Objectives
This degree provides you with a detailed knowledge of the economics of finance and financial markets. It combines economic methods, quantitative techniques and up-to-date financial analysis to give you a strong background from which to pursue a career in finance. You will develop your ability to use economic analysis and in your final year you complete a project. You can also choose to specialise, through a wide range of optional modules. The Department has a strong research base and a thriving alumni community that helps maintain links with employers and City institutions.
Entry requirements
We normally require 200 UCAS points from two or more A-Levels or equivalent. You should also have GCSE grade C or better, or equivalent, in English Language and Mathematics.

Course structure
For Single Honours you take eight modules at each level. Joint Honours involves four modules from each level in Financial Economics, plus four from your other subject. You may also choose a Major/Minor combination after level 1.
