• Objectives
  riminology is concerned with the systematic empirical study of crime, disorder and crime reduction. Criminological enquiry includes the examination of popular conceptions of crime in the media. It is also concerned with the explanation of criminal action ranging from petty theft to state sponsored terrorism. It includes the critical consideration of crime reduction including the activities of the police, Crown Prosecution Service, courts, prisons and community safety or crime prevention.
• Entry requirements
  Entry Requirements Applicants must offer at least two 6-unit awards or one 12-unit award with a total of 220-240 points (CC) from 12 units. You should normally have achieved GCSE passes at grade C or above in Mathematics and English or equivalent. If you have alternative qualifications you may wish to contact us for advice before applying.
