Objectives
This course is specifically designed for those who want to specialise in computer graphics and imaging. Graphical communication began with simple line drawings, but now encompasses sophisticated computer games and film animation, virtual reality simulations, interactive games, medical imaging, remote sensing at the atomic and astrophysical levels and surveillance. You learn the fundamentals of constructing visualisation systems and how they are used today.

Entry requirements
You should also have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent), plus one of the following: - at least 160 points from two or more A2/A-levels in Applied subjects, one of which must be a numerate science or engineering subject - at least 160 points from two A-levels in Information Technology, Engineering, Science or Business - A pass in BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies, Science or relevant subject area with at least four merits in the final year, excluding common skills.
