Objectives
Our Music programmes reflect the diversity of contemporary musical practice, the pluralism of postmodern thinking about music, and the place of music in today£s world. The extremely rich history of music is explored in our musicological studies. Music also possesses qualities that invite enquiry in the fields of theory and analysis, music technology, acoustics, sound recording and audio engineering. We are distinctive in pursuing all these fields in our teaching and research, resulting in a highly stimulating environment for undergraduate musicians and recording specialists alike. The programmes allow specialisation in creative, performing and vocational studies.
