This course is structured in the best possible way to include all the basic blocks and provide you with knowledge and understanding of manipulations of darts and seams, as well as pattern garment construction.
Learning how to construct patterns mathematically and where to place each line for darts, seams, pockets, ruffles and other design details empowers the designer to know how each element of a garment can be used to enhance a womans body. Structuring patterns is like architecture - we use line and shape to build form.

1. Measure and calculate measurements
2. Bodice (front & back)
3. Skirt (front & back, A-line skirt, Pencil Skirt)
4. Sleeves (long, short, 3/4, garthered, bell, cap, cup, raglan, dolman)
5. Full/Half Circle Skirt
6. Trousers (front & back)
7. Collars
8. Pockets
9. Construction ( waistline dress, empire line dress (No 1 and No 2), princess line dress (No 1 and No 2), stretch line)
10. Jacket (single breast and double breast)
