Objectives
This three-year BEng course provides core knowledge of the systems approach, and specialist skills in engineering applications related to medical diagnostic and treatment procedures. The skills learnt on this course will make you capable of taking responsibility as Chartered Engineers for the creation, enhancement and maintenance of advanced modern engineering systems, and particularly those in medical applications. The course is available as a three-year BEng or four-year MEng degree. We use a wide variety of teaching and assessment methods to deliver a broad learning experience and equip you with transferable skills. There are also opportunities to study another language, and take part in group and individual projects.

Entry requirements
Entry requirements GCE/VCE A Levels - BBB* BTEC National Diploma - 3 Distinctions and 1 Merit* Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - BB+BB Scottish Highers - AABB* Irish Leaving Cert. - ABBBB* International Baccalaureate - 32 points* Core Requirements - GCE A Level including Maths and Science or Technology. Applicants offering the above plus two VCE A Levels or a Double Award VCE A Level in Science or Engineering will be considered.
