Objectives
With the increasing focus on activity, health and fitness, there's no better time to begin to gain the knowledge required to pursue a career in sport. The programme combines theory and practice of sport together with the skills required in the workplace. You should have a passion for physical activity, together with a desire to enable others to participate. You will need the commitment to study sport in an academically challenging way and have the desire to develop intellectually as you progress through the programme.

Entry requirements
You will need three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English Language, plus one of the following:
* 220 points for the Specialist degree and 160 points for the Joint Honours degree (including a minimum of two A2 Levels or a 12 unit AVCE or a combination) or
* 220 points for the Specialist degree and 160 points for the Joint Honours degree from BTEC National Diploma/Certificate or
* Equivalent Scottish, Irish, Welsh or overseas qualifications or
* An equivalent qualification to those listed above (eg Access to Higher Education Certificate, International Baccalaureate)
