• Objectives
  This course develops your Spanish language skills to a high level, and also gives you an understanding of key aspects of contemporary Latin America and Spain. We cover a range of literary, cultural, socio-economic and political developments, both for Latin America and Spain, and you can select modules to suit your preferences. You can take this course either for four years (with a one-year placement) or as a three-year course (with a one-semester placement).
• Entry requirements
  You should have 200 points from at least two or more A-levels. These requirements may be varied in individual cases. Students may enter with A, AS level or GCSE or as beginners in Spanish. On registration, your language competence will be assessed and you will be allocated to the appropriate language level.

  Single Honours students take eight modules at each of three levels. Joint Honours involves four modules from each level in this subject, plus four from your other subject. You may also choose a Major/Minor after level 1.
