Objectives
This course covers the creative professional practice, technological knowledge and theoretical understanding you will need to enter a variety of careers in the areas of product and furniture design. Strong emphasis is placed upon the acquisition and development of skills relating to the creative, intelligent and sustainable application of current and emerging materials and technologies. Excellent links with industry enable students to test their ideas with leading companies – we have recently worked with Audi, GlaxoSmithKline, London Transport, Ikea and Sony.

Entry requirements
Entry requirements * a degree (level 6) in an Early Years subject or a degree (level 6) in any subject plus a level 3 qualification in an Early Years subject * a GCSE grade C in English and Maths * a current Criminal Records Bureau clearance * recent and considerable experience across whole 0-5 years age range
