Objectives
This degree course capitalises on particular strengths within the Philosophy department in the areas of Philosophy of Mind, Epistemology and Metaphysics. It has been put together with students in mind who are interested in a thorough grounding in these core philosophical areas (and their history), but it also reflects the fact that work in these areas is increasingly informed by a dialogue with work in psychology on the development of and mechanisms underlying, e.g., visual perception, conceptual thought, language and action.
