Objectives
Our History degree programmes give you the chance to study a broad range of types and periods of history, from medieval to modern, with opportunities for individual specialisation and research. We provide an excellent learning environment in the historic centre of the City of York, with a rich selection of museums, libraries and historical sites to complement and enhance the academic programme.

Entry requirements
Entry requirements You will need three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English Language (Maths also needed for Business Management and Psychology options), plus one of the following: * 160 points (including a minimum of two A2 Levels or a 12 unit AVCE or a combination) or * 160 points from BTEC National Diploma/Certificate or * Equivalent Scottish, Irish, Welsh or overseas qualifications or * An equivalent qualification to those listed above (eg Access to Higher Education Certificate, International Baccalaureate)
