Objectives
This degree programme enables you to explore the history of film and various aspects of world cinema. It examines the ways in which directors, cinematographers and editors use the tools of film language to create specific meaning. It also studies films in their social and national contexts, and it investigates key theories surrounding authorship, realism, feminism, genres and star systems.

Entry requirements * a degree (level 6) in an Early Years subject or a degree (level 6) in any subject plus a level 3 qualification in an Early Years subject * a GCSE grade C in English and Maths * a current Criminal Records Bureau clearance * recent and considerable experience across whole 0-5 years age range
