  • Objectives
    This exciting course gives you the knowledge and skills required to set up your own business or build a career in business. It analyses core business activities, such as the management of people, marketing and business operations, and examines the principles and practices of entrepreneurship. We encourage you to play an active role in learning, allowing you to acquire crucial skills for entrepreneurial success. Simulations and case studies emphasise the small business world and the process of the business start-up. Contact with the business community will enable you to understand the factors that contribute to business success and failure.
  • Entry requirements
    You should have 160-200 points, including at least 140 from two or more A-levels. English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent) are also required. We may vary these requirements in individual cases. People from a wide range of educational and employment backgrounds will be considered.

    Course structure

    For Single Honours you take eight modules at each level. Joint Honours involves four modules from each level in Entrepreneurship, plus four from your other subject. You may also choose a Major/Minor combination after level 1.
