Objectives
Studying English Literature at York St John University is about more than the study of great books. Of course, you will study great books, but you can also take modules in exciting areas such as children's literature, creative writing, or in popular forms like horror fiction.

Entry requirements You will need three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English Language (Maths also needed for Business Management and Psychology options), plus one of the following: * 160 points (including a minimum of two A2 Levels or a 12 unit AVCE or a combination) or * 160 points from BTEC National Diploma/Certificate or * Equivalent Scottish, Irish, Welsh or overseas qualifications or * An equivalent qualification to those listed above (eg Access to Higher Education Certificate, International Baccalaureate)
